Snake Chains

Snake Chains Gold and Sterling Silver Findings for Jewelry

Our Gold, Sterling Silver and Bronze Real Snake Chain features round, highly flexible links which resemble a snake pattern. This Chain lays nicely on the neck and is great for use with Pendants as it creates a V shape and not a U shape as in the false solid snake chain or compact snake chain. It is made with the same system of links made out of stamped sheet, folded over and attached to one another. It comes in many gauges from 1.2mm to 3.0mm.

This chain is in high demand in the world of jewelry since it can be used easily, from the most modern to the most classical collections. It is beautiful worn as a bracelet including various types of thread on charms or simply as a necklace with a single central part. This chain is also called Snake Chain because of its characteristic round shape, its flexibility and the sinuous shape that reminds one of a slithering snake.

We here at FAOR produce the real Snake chain. It is of fundamental importance to underline this issue because often  this article is produced in a completely different way and with the result being the production of the false snake chain, better known as the compact chain which on the contrary is a solid chain and therefore much more heavier than the hollow one we produce. Another explicit difference is that when wearing the false snake chain, being compact and therefore rigid, a U shape is formed on the neck whereas the super flexible snake chain that we produce forms a V shape which is much more elegant and sinuous.

The Real Snake Chain can be produced smooth or diamond cut and is available in different gauges from 1.2 to 3mm, in Gold and Silver. Our Snake Chains are designed for use in jewelry products like bracelets and necklaces

Our guarantee for reliability, as well as the product in itself, is also expressed in the certification that FAOR obtained in the year 2000 the UNI EN ISO 9001:2002.
